Sangiovese is found throughout Central Italy and especially in Tuscany, where it is responsible for some of Italy's most famous and prestigious DOCG wines including Brunello di Montalcino and Chianti Classico.

Brilliant acidity, high tannins but with medium alcohol, Sangiovese has an affinity for oak ageing and displays a complex fruit spectrum including earth, blueberry and a savoury punch.
