93 points, Richard Juhlin: 1911 Clouet was top wines on Saturday night! (Champagne World Expert, Stockholm) 50% of these high quality grapes are from the 1996 harvest which is quite evident by the crisp acidity. 25% of the grapes are from the 1995 harvest and the remaining 25% from 1997. Also this time, this rare and sought after wine, breathes flowery, freshness and perfectly avoids the clumsiness that is often found in blanc de noirs. The nose is eatery with sparkling tones of flowers, dried apricots, peach and crisp caramel candy. Although the taste is full, it is lifted beautifully by the freshness and there is an evident lightness by the swirling mousse on the tongue. I personally think that is elegant wine reminds of a high quality champagne."
Winemaker's comments:100% Grand Cru estate Bouzy pinot noir blend of 50% reserve wines and 50% 2008 vintages - The reserve wine is a solera of 10 years old vintages. Dosage: 5gm per bottle of traditional liquor.
Note from Cuvees.com: There are 2 versions of packaging. There's one with real hay and one with synthetic hay (which looks really bad and looks like spaghetti). The reason we have 2 versions is because we had hay packaging before and in countries where its a little more humid than others, a type of (harmless) bug would develop over time. So we've started importing the synthetic ones. However, in recent shipments, we've opted back for the original hay packaging because they look so much better ;P
