| 89 pts, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Valserrano Blanco Fermentado en Barrica, which is quite fruit-driven with very subtle oak, has a predominance of white fruit and fennel aromas with a shy creaminess, quite balanced by freshness and elegance. As with many of these whites, it's mostly Viura with a 5% punch of Malvasía Riojana. The palate is fresh, has good acidity and flavors of pears and aniseed with a touch of yeasts. It is quite pleasant 25,000 bottles". (LG)
Bright, pale-straw yellow.Fresh citrus fruit and hay and aromatic herbs. In the glass the aromas gain in intensity with a fragrance of Pear William sweet melon, peaches and reminders of sweet fruit and honey. Subtle, pleasant attack. As it passes through your mouth there are lots of fruit sensations, pleasant on the palate with silky and glyceric sensations. The aftertaste is long with reminders of citrus and sweet fruit.
