On Wednesday: Hong Kong Wine Society Blind Tasting, featuring Braida Wines

It was our pleasure to take part in the Braida wine tasting and wine dinner held at Cordis last week. We felt truly privileged to have pioneer of Barbera, Braida's owner and winemaker Raffaella Bologna present at the event despite the very busy time during Vinexpo.

A special thank you to event host the Hong Kong Wine Society for initiating this fantastic ideas and making it happen, such a rare opportunity for wine lovers in Hong Kong to access both current releases and some valuable older vintages of Braida wines, from 1998 to 2013!  Some vintages we tasted were indeed of HKWS's own library wines.

The eleven flights blind tasted included a vertical of Braida's top notch wine series, Bricco dell'Uccellone and Bricco della Bigotta.  What's more, there was the 1990 vintage of Ai Suma which is extremely hard to find in today's market.
